The age-old question:  Should you shoot RAW or should you shoot JPG?  Well, first we gotta define what a RAW file is, and what a JPG is.  There are advantages for both.  What are they?  When would you choose one of the other?  What about all those different funky shapes and icons in my camera's JPG menu options?  How do I deal with RAW files and get the most out of them? Let's do a dive into some basic file mechanics and hopefully demystify this situation once and for all.

We'll talk about creatively using blur via slow-shutter, tracking, panning and zooming, as well as how to control camera shake and using multiple exposures to bring your still images to life. 

Naturally, we'll be discussing hue, saturation, the color wheel, and the pairing of complementary colors, among other things.  But we'll also show you examples of how classic and contemporary artists creatively used color to define space, establish a mood, and build a narrative in their images.
