This six-hour workshop covers the unpredictable nature of the New York landscape.  A more advanced course, The Street challenges students to get out and use the environment as a working tool, putting their learning to practice and trying new things. In just a few hours, we'll show you how to take awesome portraits of the people you love, including how to find the most flattering natural and available light, how different focal lengths will affect the dimensions of the human face, how to get comfortable photographing people and how to put your subjects at ease.  Get a crash course in taking beautiful, revealing portraits, and capture the moments you'll want to remember.

Naturally, we'll be discussing hue, saturation, the color wheel, and the pairing of complimentary colors, among other things. But we'll also show you examples of how classic and contemporary artists creatively used color to define space, establish a mood, and build a narrative in their images.
